Go out and dance with the Joyful,
Who are so poor but beautiful;
They enjoy life more than you do,
They will tell you…
It doesn’t matter what you have,
How much money or what car you drive;
I will dance with you field with joy,
They will tell you….
A piece of bread is all that you need,
You don’t live to eat, you eat to live;
They will tell you…
Be grateful for what you have,
Make the most of everyday life;
Let’s sing now and dance together,
Enjoy your time with the reach in heart,
You will miss them when you come back;
Whenever you feel a little sad,
Just remember this joyful dance.
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing: You have put off my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness; Psalm 30:11
Good poem. I am so amazed Negat.I know how difficult it is to write poem in mother-tongue let alone in foreign langage. Yes, the poor are happier than the materially rich. The poor learn to see the greatness of God because they know all they get in life is a gift from God but many of us who live in abaundance and try to accumulate more wealth take God's gift for granted so there is no joy in us. How can one be joyful over the things he or she take it for granted? I think that might be the reason our Lord said it is easier for the cammel to pass through the eye of the needle than the rich to enter Kingdom of Heaven.
ReplyDeleteThank you so Much Leoul. It is true the more we have the more we want and the more we take gods blessing for granted. The answer to the the question how much money does it take to satisfy a man always has been "a little more" It is never enough. If our source of hapiness is the material of this world we will never be satisfied...
